T20 World Cup: Why Namibia’s target is 127 runs despite England scoring 122?
England managed to score 122 runs in their allotted 10 overs.
Due to the loss of one over during their innings, the revised DLS target for Namibia was set at 127 runs. Trumpelmann dismissed Buttler with an inswinger, contributing to England’s early setbacks.
Wiese bowled two excellent overs and claimed Salt’s wicket with a knuckle ball. At 13/2, Bairstow and Brook, both Yorkshiremen, partnered to build a fifty-run stand. Bairstow received a lifeline at 15 runs before eventually falling to Scholtz.
Although Harry Brook missed out on a half-century, he remained unbeaten. England’s total was bolstered significantly by strong performances from their all-rounders, despite a slow start from the openers.
Some knock from Harry Brook 👏

Moeen Ali, Livingstone, and Bairstow contributed runs from one end, while Harry Brook anchored the innings from the other.
Still got to assess the pitch even though it’s a 10-over game. Wiese bowled well and we did well to get to 122. The ball did a bit early on. The pitch was under covers and sweated a bit, the guys will be looking to get plenty of revs on it when we bowl. From this end, Brooky got a cross-seamer which took a chunk off the pitch. We will look to bowl tidily and use our brains. [on the chat with Brook] Not that much with Brooky, you just let him bat. Good relation with him and we have known each other for long, the plan was to take our time and then backload with the guys like Mo and Livi to come.
