Facing a daunting target, Karachi Kings struggled to build momentum in their chase as they lost wickets at regular intervals. Despite a resilient fifty from Shoaib Malik, the Kings failed to keep up with the required run rate and eventually managed only 130/8 in their allotted 20 overs.
Multan Sultans’ bowlers delivered a clinical performance to dismantle the Kings’ batting lineup, with Mohammad Ali starring with figures of 3-23. Abbas Afridi also made significant contributions with two crucial wickets, ensuring Karachi Kings fell well short of their target.
