“Yeh Indian hoga,” Haris Rauf gets into heated argument with Pakistani fan

Pakistan cricketer Haris Rauf got into a heated argument with a fan in the USA after Pakistan’s exit from the T20 World Cup 2024. The incident, captured on video, shows Rauf mistakenly accusing the fan of being Indian, only to discover mid-argument that the fan was actually Pakistani.
In the viral video, Rauf is seen rushing towards the fan while his wife tries to stop him. The argument escalates as Rauf, visibly agitated, accuses the fan of being Indian. The fan then reveals his Pakistani identity, surprising Rauf.
Rauf is among six Pakistani players who stayed in the USA following their team’s early exit from the tournament. Pakistan had a rough start, losing their first game to the USA. Their performance didn’t improve much as they narrowly lost to India in a closely contested match. Despite a win against Canada, it was too late for Pakistan to progress in the tournament. Their final match against Ireland was called off due to rain, sealing their fate in the World Cup.
The video of Rauf’s confrontation highlights the frustrations within the team and among fans following their disappointing World Cup campaign –
