Cricketing legend Kapil Dev elected as president of Professional Golf Tour of India

Kapil Dev the iconic Indian cricketer has embarked on a new sporting journey. The former captain of India’s 1983 World Cup-winning team has been unanimously elected as the President of the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI).

This move marks a significant transition for Dev who has been an avid golfer for over 30 years. His passion for golf combined with his sporting legacy brings a unique blend of experience and star power to the PGTI.

“It is an honor to become the President of PGTI” Dev said expressing his enthusiasm for the role. He added with a touch of humor “What gives me even greater pleasure is that I will be able to spend more time with my golfing friends and play a little more.”
