IND vs BAN 2nd Test Day 3: Delayed start due to rain in Kanpur

Day 3 of the India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test in Kanpur faces a delayed start. Despite clear skies this morning, heavy overnight rain has impacted the pitch and ground conditions. An inspection is set for 2 PM before the start of play.

The weather played a major role in disrupting Day 2 as well, leaving cricket fans disappointed. The day began with heavy drizzle, and the ground remained covered for a considerable time.

With no improvement, Team India eventually returned to their hotel, and play was officially called off before the tea break.

Day 1 saw similar interruptions, ending early due to rain and bad light. Bangladesh managed to post 107/3, with only 35 overs played. Akash Deep’s two wickets put some pressure on Bangladesh, but Mominul Haque and Najmul Hossain Shanto formed a 51-run partnership, holding back the Indian pacers in challenging overcast conditions.
