India B and India C settle for a draw in Duleep Trophy match

The Duleep Trophy match between India B and India C ended in a draw after four days of play at the Rural Development Trust Stadium in Anantapur. With India C at 128 for 4 in their second innings and leading by 321 runs, both teams decided to call it a day during the third session.
Anshul Kamboj was named Player of the Match for his outstanding performance, taking 8 wickets for 69 runs and contributing a quick 38 from 27 balls with the bat.
Abhimanyu Easwaran’s unbeaten 157 anchored India B’s innings as they were bowled out for 332. India C quickly wrapped up the tail early on Day 4, with Kamboj taking the final wickets.
In response, India C started aggressively, with Ruturaj Gaikwad leading the charge. He scored 62, his second fifty of the match, and was supported by Rajat Patidar, who contributed 42 runs in their 96-run partnership. However, India B’s bowlers kept things in check, with Rahul Chahar taking two wickets.
With the game heading for a draw, both teams agreed to end the match. India B will face India D next, while India C will take on India A, with both matches starting on September 19.
