Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj likely to be rested for IND vs BAN T20Is

As India gears up for a busy cricket schedule, ace pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj are expected to be rested for the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh. With the World Test Championship (WTC) being a priority, India is focusing on managing the workload of key players ahead of crucial Test matches.

India currently leads the WTC standings and will play two Test matches against Bangladesh, followed by a three-match T20I series starting on October 7. With the demanding schedule ahead, including a Test series against New Zealand, Bumrah and Siraj are likely to be given a break to manage their workload.

This provides an opportunity for young pacers like Arshdeep Singh and Khaleel Ahmed to step in and showcase their skills in the T20 format. Additionally, Shubman Gill is also expected to be rested, with Ishan Kishan possibly making a return to the team.

India’s focus remains on staying strong in the WTC, and managing the players’ fitness will be key to maintaining their top position.
